Announcement - GBC change deadline!

Gravesham Borough Council have bowed to public pressure and put back the deadline for the consulation period on the local Development Framework to 22nd Decmber 2011. View the Council Statement

Announcement - Rural Forum

The next meeting of the Gravesham Rural Neighbourhood Forum is on Wednesday 30 November, starting at 7pm, at Meopham Village Hall, Wrotham Road, Meopham Kent, DA13 0AT. Doors open at 6.30pm for refreshments.

The agenda for the meeting is attached. The main subject of the meeting is Policing in rural Gravesham. The Chief Constable of Kent, Ian Learmonth, is attending the meeting to give an update on Policing in Kent. Superintendent Dan Murphy and Chief Inspector Phillip Painter will also be present to help answer questions on policing in the Gravesham area.

Respond to Gravesham Borough Council by filling in the online questionnaire. This counts directly to the number of comments received by the consultation. Consider the list of Issues and Questions when responding. Also see the EXAMPLE LETTER for more details. CHALLENGE THE ASSUMPTIONS THAT LARGE NUMBERS OF NEW HOUSES ARE NEEDED WHEN GRAVESHAM HAS THE THIRD HIGHEST UNEMPLOYMENT IN KENT.
